I would say these puzzles are moderately difficult, hard but not extreme. The size of the puzzles is good, 4 to a page, with numbers being a good visible size. What makes this book different is the puzzle answers are on the bottom of the next page, so it's easy to check if you have a problem. For me this works well, I am a Sudoku puzzler who probably solves more than a hundred a week. When I receive a new book, I tear off all the front pages until the unsolved puzzle is visible. Then when I need to go to the back side, I tear off the page - place in over the back of the book and solve it. Solved pages are tossed so my book gets smaller and smaller but usually there is a large amount of pages in the page of answers, not in this book because the old answers have been tossed. I wish the answers were a little bit larger but understand the space constraints. Great job on making the puzzles better!!!
These puzzles are labeled as "hard" but every one has 30 (or more) numbers already filled in.That is representative of an "easy" puzzle, no challenge whatsoever.Most legitimate hard puzzles seem to have only 21-22 numbers already filled in.
